One of the very first “Friends of FastStart”/ #FacesofFastStart, Lindsay Brock, has launched her new business in downtown Peterborough.
FastStart is Peterborough’s youth entrepreneurship skills training partnership that brings together Trent, Fleming College and the Greater Peterborough Innovation Cluster. FastStart is designed to increase entrepreneurship skills and awareness among Peterborough area youth and help them develop solid business plans and take products and services to market.
Lindsay’s Amuse Coffee Co. specializes in Fair Trade Organic whole bean coffee, loose tea, and French-inspired pastries, and has introduced Peterborough to exciting new ways of enjoying some classic favourites!
Amusé clearly isn’t your average coffee shop! With an inviting atmosphere, not to mention the perfect assortment of goodies and gift ideas, you’ll be right at home.
While gearing up to launch her business, Lindsay attended the many networking events and entrepreneurial skills workshops put on by the Greater Peterborough Innovation Cluster and FastStart: from Office Hours, to Hands-ON to our E-Connect!.
At all of these events, Lindsay was a regular! She is a true entrepreneur – taking the time to soak up every bit of information and taking advantage of every opportunity that came her way.
“The FastStart program cultivates our rich entrepreneurial landscape with endless learning and development opportunities, especially for our community’s inspiring and ambitious young leaders,” she says.
Amusé Coffee Co. is located at 641 George St. N, Peterborough – check it out!
