The Innovation Cluster’s Digital Power Breakfast will inspire established businesses and startups alike by bringing in a major Canadian speaker. Geordie Konrad, co-founder of the well-established digital agency Konrad Group, will be speaking at the Power Breakfast which will be held at Fleming College’s newly renovated wing in Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre.
Geordie Konrad is well known for his recognition in Marketing Magazine’s 30 Under 30 list for founding Konrad Group at just 20 years old with his twin brother Bill Konrad. Now eight years after establishing the company, the business has over 200 employees throughout Canada, United States and Costa Rica, boasting 1000 clients and counting.
The Konrad Group also has offices within the Innovation Cluster’s incubator in Peterborough’s downtown VentureNorth building as their vision is extremely well aligned with The Cube. With the connection of tech innovation between the two, Geordie will be an essential speaker to the Cluster’s Digital Power Breakfast for aspiring innovators throughout Peterborough and the Kawarthas.
The digital agency stands out from just offering digital design and development. It has a mission to innovate average marketing strategies as they work alongside corporations like Nestlé and McDonald’s, influencing consumers from across the globe.
Speaking alongside Konrad, the Power Breakfast will also feature Vince Killen, Executive Director of Community Futures Ontario East, Independent Reach (a successfully incubated Innovation Cluster client), and Jeff Sayers, Co-Founder of the new fin-tech company MotherClock Inc. Business people and new entrepreneurs will benefit from hearing the new companies stories as well as a highlight of funding that is available to startups that are ready to scale.
