The Innovation Cluster is excited to announce BDC has officially came on as an Innovation Partner to help startup clients grow their business through professional services and connections. The partnership was announced in the Cluster’s downtown incubator during a networking breakfast on behalf of BDC during the morning of Aug. 16.
The Business Development Bank of Canada offers extensive services exclusively to entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized enterprises throughout Canada. Now, BDC is partnered with the Innovation Cluster, offering services and connections to all local entrepreneur clients.
As partners, Cluster staff, and startups networked, Dawn Hennessey, Business Centre Manager, Peterborough of BDC, announced a member of BDC will attend the Innovation Cluster’s downtown incubator at least once per week to offer advice, services, connections and more to the clients who grow their business out of the space every day.
Michael Skinner, President and CEO of the Innovation Cluster, says having partners like BDC offering services in the same space where startups grow their business helps lead entrepreneurs to success.
“The Innovation Cluster is thrilled to have BDC come on as a partner, so that startup companies have support and resources just steps away from their work space and can grow their business to the highest potential,” he said.
BDC joins over a dozen sponsors and partners who are helping Peterborough grow to be a place for startups to thrive.
Startups will have access to coaching in areas such as financial management, human resources, leading change, sales and marketing, strategic planning, access to funding and more.
