Aspiring entrepreneurs unleashed their business ideas in the 3rd annual FastStart Peterborough “Pitch It!” competition.
Sponsored by FastStart, an entrepreneurial training partnership aimed at university and college students, provided the competition to allow students to practice their pitching skills in front of established entrepreneurs, academic faculty and partners like the Innovation Cluster.
After applying and having a chance to prepare their business, the business ideas were put to the test during a night of pitching.
The finalists in each business category were:

Information Technology & Media (including Media & Gaming)
Phi Do and Phuong Duc Minh for their business Shopper Heroes.
Clean Tech & The Environment
Spencer Langlois for their business Solar Wire.
Trades & Retail Business
Conor Wilson for their business Pup Therapy.
Lifestyle & Fashion
Gregory Barnes for their business Food Cubed.
Each finalist took home $500 divided between their team.
