Before entering Dragon’s Den, Romanow co-founded SnapSaves and Buytopia, both deal sites to help save money on purchases. In a matter of two years, Buytopia had obtained over 2.5 million subscribers and over 100 million dollars in savings.
With no plans of stopping her entrepreneurial journey anytime soon, Romanow is now investing into other high-potential startups, many of whom enter the hit show Dragon’s Den.
The successful female tech entrepreneur toured Peterborough’s downtown incubator to meet the abundance of successful startups living on the 3rd floor of the VentureNorth Building. Following her tour, Innovation Cluster staff escorted Michele to Market Hall Performing Arts Centre to speak to the sold out crowd that awaited her. During the event, Romanow talked about her journey as an entrepreneur and gave some insight, inspiration and humour to the startups listening in the audience.
After her presentation, attendees were able to line up to meet Romanow one-on-one and chat while getting a picture taken.
