“We believe that accountants, lawyers and investment advisors work better when they’re together in one space. It’s an innovative, team based approach to a financial advisory. It’s Inclusive. Better Together.”
Inclusive Advisory Tackles These Main Problems:
- Time is scarce. Travelling around to four or five different offices to meet with accountants, investment professionals, insurance agents, lawyers, etc. is very time consuming.
- Professional advisors give conflicting advice. For example, accountants say one thing, lawyers say another and entrepreneurs get confused. For the most part, the entrepreneurs advice is disorganized, uncoordinated and almost always conflicting.
To solve this, Inclusive Advisory created a unique business model, which is one of the first of its kind in Ontario. They have created a model that is comprehensive/inclusive i.e. they integrate many different kinds of professional advisory services – accounting, investments, insurance, mortgages and law, all in one space – you can find them in the yellow building on the corner of George and McDonnel streets in Peterborough.
The concept of “inclusion” is gaining momentum and Inclusive Advisory is taking this seriously, in order to not be exclusive.
While Inclusive Advisory competes against family offices and private client groups, they don’t exclude potential clients based on the amount of fees they can charge them. Inclusive Advisory wants to deal with open-minded and interesting clients with a diverse background who appreciate their advice.
Research shows that the majority of entrepreneurs ask their individual professional advisors complex questions that are outside of their area of expertise. Some examples are:
- Asking Investment Advisors about capital dividend accounts and trusts
- Asking Lawyers about HST and the economy
- Asking Accountants about wills and powers of attorney and where they should invest their money.
By having all of your advisors in one space, your personal finances are coordinated, time is saved and there are significant synergies in collaboration – all at the same table, in the same building.
They do not just sell services. They offer a memorable experience in their innovative office design.
Inclusivity is about everyone. Their staff at all levels contribute to the client experience. They’ve spent a lot of time building a team of local staff members that have interesting personalities. Among their professionals are baristas, ultra marathon runners and opera singers! Not only do the close to 25 professionals have a diverse set of interests and skills to offer clients, but years of experience as well.

Michael has spent the last 20+ years studying “pain points” for entrepreneurs, business owners and busy professionals. His research reveals there is a massive opportunity for a brand new industry and his firm is filling the gaps. Smart collaboration. Better together.
