Peterborough game developer Canuck Play will continue its major success with their game title “Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football 2019”, by partnering with Maximum Games to bring physical copies to Wal-Mart, Amazon, GameStop, with more to be announced. Pre-orders are open now.
Throughout the past year, the Innovation Cluster startup has grown a sizeable fan-base, with over 30 thousand followers reaching outside of Canada worldwide throughout Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Since its first title launch in 2017, their sales have reached 12 countries.
“Our partnership with Maximum Games will further grow the Maximum Football brand and spread our reach as a company,” says David Winter, Founder and President of Canuck Play. “We’ve heard the requests for a physical release, and we want everybody to have the opportunity to play our game.”
What makes the game unique is the ability to play multiple football rule sets, including US Pro, College and Canadian. Gamers can play as brand ambassador and Hall of Fame Quarterback Doug Flutie, as well as customizing every team (130 U.S. and 27 Canadian), uniform, logo and player in the game.
