H2O Makerspace

The Innovation Cluster has a strong focus on supporting cleantech startups, which is no surprise since the city of Peterborough has been rated #2 in Canada and #1 in Ontario to launch a water technology startup by Water Canada Magazine. Among the abundant resources available to water technology startups, the Innovation Cluster is home to the H2O Makerspace. Over 30 pieces of cleantech equipment have been made available to startup clients working with the Innovation Cluster. Highlights of the portable analyzers located in the H2O Makerspace for water testing available at no cost to clients include Hach Pocket Colorimeter for Chlorine, Hach HQ 11D Portable pH Meter, Hach DR 1900 Portable Spectrometer, Hach Portable Incubator for Bacteria Samples, LEICA DM500 Microscope and a 3M ATP Portable Meter to name a few.
